Paper Submission
All accepted works will be published in the proceedings of the Conference.
In CERI 2018, submissions are divided into three categories: long and short papers.
- Long papers, submitted in PDF and written in English or Spanish, must not exceed 8 pages following the ACM SIG Proceedings Format and they will be presented at the scientific sessions of the conference.
- Short papers (posters) must not exceed 4 pages in the same format and will be exhibited and presented in a special poster session.
- Extended abstracts containing descriptions of ongoing projects or summarizing already published relevant results. Two pages is the recommended length for this type of contributions. These contributions must not exceed 4 pages in the same format and will be exhibited and presented in a special session.
CERI especially encourages PhD students and researchers in the early stage of their careers to submit their works. Also, contributions from industry will be considered.
Papers should be prepared according to the ACM “sigconf” proceedings template available at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template (see sample-sigconf.tex if using Latex template, or ACM_SigConf.docx if using Word template).
All papers must be submitted as PDF files through the EasyChair online submission system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ceri2018).
At least one author of each accepted work must register to the conference, by the date indicated by the organizers, and present her/his paper. Besides, all papers must be submitted in anonymized form. Thus, author names and organization, references, acknowledgements, and any other information that might allow to identify the authors should be removed from the initial submissions. Papers already published, accepted or under review in any other conference or journal will not be accepted. We also expect that authors will not submit their works to any other event during the reviewing period of CERI 2018. Regarding plagiarism considerations, ACM Plagiarism Policy will be applied.
